Over $70,000 raised in West Parry Sound Walk, Run, Pole

It was a huge turnout resulting in over $70,000 in pledges at the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation – Walk, Run, Pole.

One team, the Pointe au Baril Islanders, raised over $22,000 on their own.

It was the 12th year of the event with the money raised buying new equipment vital to the health centre.

It includes new breathing assist equipment for the Emergency Department (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and an ‘Auto Pulse Resuscitation System’ supporting patients in sudden cardiac arrest.
