With municipal elections just two weeks away, mayoral campaigns are ramping up. Both Municipality of McDougall Mayoral candidates responded to where their municipality fits in the Parry Sound District and how they would work with the other municipalities. Incumbent Mayor Dale Robinson says McDougall is a member of a lot of cooperative initiatives including the Library, the Industrial Park, REDAC, and more.

Roger Taylor is also running for Mayor and says he wouldn’t change much in how McDougall interacts with surrounding municipalities.

Every residents should have received their online and telephone voting information through the mail and if you haven’t, please contact the municipal office.
The voting period starts at 10:00am tomorrow and will end at 8:00pm on Election Day, October 27th.
