At Parry Sound council’s most recent meeting, the council approved a direction to town staff to begin the process of selling the CP Station by declaring it as surplus.
Town staff has been advised to advise the current tenant, The Festival of the Sound, that the town will ensure that the festival’s needs will be taken into consideration as it relates to the timeline of the sale.
The town will then hire a realtor to sell the property and make the Environmental Site Assessment available for review in the town’s office.
