The Town of Parry Sound has declared May as “Community Living Month” citing a broad range of reasons why.
Council noted among other things that Community Living supports many people as they develop their capacity to live, learn, work and participate in all aspects of the community and helps the community develop its capacity to welcome and support people who have not always had the same opportunities as the rest of us.
Community Living has served the community for over 56 years. A flag raising at Town Hall will be held on May 1st.
