Council in Parry Sound will gather tonight for their regular meeting. On the agenda is a deputation to discuss plans for the Cascade Street generation station from the Chief Operating Officer and Manager of Lakeland Holdings as well as a deputation from Dave Rice regarding the All Ontario Native Fastball Tournament held at the Kinsmen and council is expected to give staff direction later in the agenda. Also on the agenda is a resolution to have a four-way stop at the corner of Mary and James Streets, direction to staff regarding public transit in Parry Sound, a resolution to accept a request for proposals on the development of a trails master plan, discussion and direction on fluoride in the Town’s drinking water, and more. The meeting gets started at 7:00pm in the council chambers of the town office.
