Job Seekers
YMCA Employment and Learning Services offers a wide range of free services to help individuals of all ages seeking work, with resume help, interview preparation, career counselling, job matching, and much more. All services are flexible to the particular needs of each client. Skills upgrading and assistance in pursuing further training and education is also available, through one on one support and ongoing workshops in computer skills, cash handling, personal finance, with new workshops introduced on a regular basis.
Employers
YMCA Employment Services, considered to be Parry Sound’s HR department by many small businesses in the community, offers free recruiting services to local employers.  Employers benefit by reducing hiring costs and simplifying the hiring process. Services include job development, assistance with writing job descriptions, posting open jobs, matching job seekers to employers, and connecting employers with training support as appropriate.
