$100,000 in drugs found during McDougall traffic stop
A pair of people are facing several charges following a traffic stop in McDougall.
West Parry Sound O.P.P. confirmed that yesterday around 9:00pm police stopped a car that was seen going above the posted speed limit.
According to the police, officers seized suspected cocaine, suspected carfentanil and $1,600 in cash. Police say that the street value of the drugs is roughly $100,000.
Jeremiah Gill, a 23-year-old from Hamilton and Germain Jean-Louis a 24-year-old from St. Catherines, were both charged with possession of cocaine, possession of opioids, as well as trafficking cocaine and trafficking opioids.
Gill was also charged with “personation to avoid arrest” and driving with a suspended licence.
