Pot brownies served at Whitestone luncheon

Police are investigating after drug infused brownies were possibly served at a community luncheon.

The West Parry Sound OPP says it happened in Whitestone on Tuesday. Officers were called after several people needed medical attention.

Some of the people who went to the luncheon reported having symptoms like dry mouth, dizziness, and disorientation with some experiencing nausea and vomiting. After speaking to them the police figured out that the only people who had gotten sick were those that ate the chocolate brownies.

The OPP says the investigation is ongoing, but at this time it doesn’t seem that anyone had any serious or lasting effects from eating the pot brownies.
