UPDATE: Freezing rain warning ends

UPDATE: The freezing rain warning has come to an end.

A freezing rain warning is in effect for the Muskoka and Parry Sound areas.

Environment Canada says freezing rain will begin late this evening or after midnight. The freezing rain will change to rain by early Sunday morning as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

In addition, southwest winds gusting to 70 or 80 km/h will develop on Sunday and continue for much of the day.

The freezing rain is associated with a Colorado Low that will track through Northeastern Ontario on Sunday.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
