PSHS students facing OPP in charity hockey game

Local cops and kids are getting on the ice for a good cause.

The West Parry Sound OPP is taking on Parry Sound High School students in a charity hockey game. The Second Annual Panther Classic raises money for the United Way.

The teams will be led by Principal Dawn Buckland and OPP Staff Sergeant Dominick Lalonde and are a mix of students and OPP officers. The teams were picked last Thursday in the school cafeteria.

They square off tomorrow at the Bobby Orr Community Centre starting at 12:30pm.  There’s also going to be a skills competition on top of the game. Admission is a non-perishable food item or a cash donation.
