The Energy Minister is warning against Hydro One’s proposal to pay its new CEO $2.7 million. He believes that number should be just over $1 million less, but his warning has reportedly fallen on deaf ears in Hydro One so far.

Trump signs off on funding bill, says he’ll declare state of emergency for his wall

Donald Trump is preparing to declare a state of emergency, so he can get his border wall.
The US President made the declaration after agreeing to sign a bill meant to stop another government shutdown. Because he isn’t being given the over five-billion-dollars in wall funding, he’s going to try to get the money from emergency reserves instead.

Police call reactions to Amber Alert ‘disappointing’ 

Police are expressing disappointment over reactions to a late night Amber Alert.
Reports claim some Ontarians called 9-1-1 to complain about the alert hitting phones, radios and TVs near midnight. Police say, despite the time, they were able to immediately get public tips, which eventually led to the discover of the 11-year-old girl’s body in Brampton.
