Nine charged in local drug bust

A search warrant executed on William Street leads police to arrest nine people for suspected drug trafficking.

On January 29th, The West Parry Sound OPP with help from other special OPP units executed a warrant and seized suspected Cocaine, Crack, Xanax, liquid Codeine, an unknown substance and a homemade gun. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $12,000.  Police also seized $1,800 of cash.

Those charged include:

Roarke McGeown, a 21-year-old man from North York was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4  substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine and possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun.

Jeremy Hussey-Butler, a 20-year-old man from Scarborough was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, and possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun.

Joshua Collins, a 39-year-old man from Seguin Township was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun, and breach of recognizance.

Diane Cull, a 47-year-old woman from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted gun, fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by an  officer in charge.

Samantha Fisher, a 29-year-old woman from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted gun.

Alicia Jackson, a 31-year-old woman from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, and possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun.

Blake McAmmond, a 33-year-old man from McDougall Township was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun, possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to probation order, and fail to comply with probation order.

Morgen Steele, a 37-year-old man from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun, possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to a probation order.

Melissa Wilcox, a 38-year-old woman from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 4  substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, possession of loaded prohibited or restricted gun. possession of gun or ammunition, contrary to a probation order. and fail to comply with Conditions of Undertaking given by an officer in charge.

All were released on a Promise to Appear and all are scheduled to appear before the Parry Sound court on February 28th.
