The province has announced $27.5 million in funding for programs that support economic development for Indigenous peoples.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, where programs to support for First Nations people will consist of training, job creation community infrastructure, and consultation capacity in communities.
The 2018-19 funding will flow through three programs including $10 million the Indigenous Economic Development Fund, The Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program should see $3 million and the New Relationship Fund has been granted $14.5 million.
