The Almaguin Spartans dropped a pair of games at home over the weekend.
The team lost a heart-breaker on Friday night to Temiscaming 3 – 2, then a 6-3 loss to Ville Marie on Saturday.
The G.M.H.L. announced last week that a new (as yet unnamed) team from Bancroft will join the North Division next year.
The Spartans next game is set for February 02nd against the Bradford Rattlers, a game that will be played in Bancroft.
