All are invited to a live demonstration of equipment slated to be built in the district.
The Town of Parry Sound supported this demonstration because both companies are planning to manufacture this equipment in the district as early as spring of next year.
Two SHERP ATVs and ATASD ACV hovercrafts from “Air Rider Hovercraft” rescue airboats from USA manufacturer “1000 Islands Airboats” will be shown riding over water, ice, snow and ground.
ATASD and SHERP teams say they are scheduling a “Day of Rescue Amphibious Vehicles Joint Demonstration and Trials.”
This demo event is with support and assistance from municipal and provincial governments. Authorities of the provincial government, RCMP, DND, and Ontario Fire Department officers have confirmed their attendance, according to SHERP’s facebook page.
All are welcome to attend the demonstration on Friday, February 8th from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the Stockey Centre.
