Keep your eyes peeled for CP’s Holiday Train

Keep a look-out for the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train.

It’ll be making its way through MacTier and Parry Sound  later this week.

CP Holiday Train is coming to Parry Sound and MacTier.

The CP Holiday Train is in its 20th year and raises money, food, and awareness for local food banks and food shelves.

It left Montreal yesterday and will travel west through Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and make its final stop in British Columbia.

The Holiday Train is expected to arrive in MacTier at the Old CP station at 2:5opm on Friday and is expected to head for Parry Sound around 3:30pm arriving at 4:15pm at the Festival Station Gallery at 1 Avenue Road, leaving at 5:00pm. and Shawanaga at 5:30 pm over from band office beside railroad crossing at Village Road.

There will be country and fiddle performances from Terri Clark, Sierra Noble, and Kelly Prescott.
