Almaguin Spartans Look To Close The Gap On Second Place Rattlers

In GMHL action tonight (Friday) the Almaguin Spartans are returning to the friendly confines of the South River-Machar Community Centre after a lengthy road trip.

Heading into tonight’s game the Spartans are riding a four game winning streak which has allowed the team to head upwards in the North Division, securing third place with a record of 20-12-8.

Tonight’s opponents, The Bradford Rattlers are having a stellar season riding a seven game winning streak with a record heading into tonight’s game of 15-13-1 good enough for second place in the North and a three point bulge on the Spartans.

Saturday sees the Spartans crossing the border to Temiscaming.

Game time tonight is 7:30.
