OPP Lay Charges in Drug Bust

A Parry Sound woman has been charged with drug trafficking after police obtained a warrant to search her home.

Last Friday, the OPP seized drug paraphernalia, suspected cocaine, suspected hydromorphone pills and $2,660 of Canadian money. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $11,600.  The woman, 49-year-old Roberta Pearce has been charged with cocaine possession and drug trafficking.

Along with that investigation, three other men have been charged. A 27-year old Vaughan man, Julian Haye, was suspected to be in possession of opioids, while a 25-year-old Parry Sound man, Jason Nagonosh, was charged with cocaine possession and a David Dorian, a 34-year-old Penetanguishene man was also suspected to be in the possession of cocaine.

The accused were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear before the Court in Parry Sound on November 29, 2018.
