The West Parry Sound OPP would like to remind residents to lock your doors.
On October 17th, police responded to a break, enter and theft from a local resident’s home.
Shortly before 7:30pm the homeowners returned home to find a man in their kitchen snacking on chips. The suspect gained entry into the residence through an unlocked door, made himself at home then departed the scene after the homeowners returned. There was no other damage.
According to Constable Miles Loach, the suspect was visibly intoxicated from alcohol and arrested on the street shortly after the break-in. A 27-year-old Parry Sound man has been charged with breaking and entering and will appear before the court on November 15th.
