Police are reminding off-road drivers that tragedies are preventable. Recently, the OPP investigated two deaths related to crashes on trails. Police say it is your responsibility to ensure safe driving. This includes driving defensively and wearing protective gear. Helmets are required by law and personal protective equipment such as goggles, chest protectors and proper footwear can reduce the risk of serious injuries.
