Possible West Nile Virus case being investigated in Wahta

Stay protected against West Nile Virus.  The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit is testing one person from Wahta Mohawk Territory for West Nile Virus.  To make sure you can your family avoid the virus, the health unit suggests that you do the following.  Wear light coloured clothing that covers your arms and legs, use a mosquito repellent, try to stay indoors during dusk and dawn and remove any standing water from your property.  The Health Unit also suggests watching out for symptoms such as a headache or fever, body aches, rashes, nausea or vomiting.  If you have any questions, contact your family doctor or visit www.simcoemuskokahealth.org.
