After a tough fought battle last Saturday against Ville Marie that saw the Almaguin Spartans 6 game winning streak end, the Spartans hope to start a new streak on the road tonight in Temiscaming.
Their road trip also sees the GMHL club in Wiarton on Saturday and Bradford against the Rattlers on Sunday.
The Spartans have been busy off the ice the past couple of weeks, picking up Power Forward Patrik Linnumae from the Bradford Rattlers and adding Nikita Eruslanov from FSO Moscow U18.
The Spartans head into tonight’s game with a 7 and 2 record good for second in the GMHL North behind the Ville Marie Pirates.
