Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is probing the cause of death for a Parry Sound man.
West Parry Sound OPP, along with emergency crews, was called Sunday morning after the 61-year-old collapsed in front of a business on James Street in town. William Black was taken to hospital, but died before he arrived.
According to the SIU, an officer injected the man with Naloxone at the scene. Naloxone is used in overdose emergencies.
The SIU will continue to run the investigation.
