Are you ready to take the OPP challenge? The OPP wants all boaters to wear a life jacket. In a recent report, police say 12 people have lost their lives on lakes across the province this year compared to five people at the same time last year. That being said the OPP is urging anyone who heads out on the water to always wear a personal flotation device. Chief Superintendent John Tod, Regional Commander of the OPP Central Region says if you’ve got a PFD then use it. Life jackets are the difference between life and death.
