Another GMHL season kicks off this Saturday night (Sept 08) for the GMHL Champion Almaguin Spartans.
The Spartans will be hosting one of the 2 new clubs to the GMHL North Division, the Ottawa Sharp Shooters with game time 7:30 pm in South River.
The other new addition to the GMHL North is the Wiarton Schooners.
The Spartans will make a celebration of the night with a banner raising ceremony celebrating both their North Division title from last season as well as the overall GMHL Championship. They’ll also host a dance after the game.
The Seguin Huskies will not ice a team this year and the South Muskoka Shield are making the move to a new home in Port Carling.
