The Ontario SPCA has a program to help avoid pets being left in vehicles in hot weather. Originally created and launched in 2012, No Hot Pets is a campaign encouraging pet owners to take their pet with them when they park their car. Citizens are asked to share the posters, and leaflets about the dangers of leaving pets in vehicles and pet owners are asked to go online and pledge to not leave their pets in their vehicles. Those who take the pledge online at http://support.ontariospca.ca/ will get No Hot Pets decal for their vehicle.
