When it comes to council, voters have a choice of 15 candidates for 10 seats. There are two spots in Ward 1 with Greg Andrews and Tom Lundy, the incumbents, taking on Laurie Emery. Ward 3’s two seats are being fought for by incumbents Gary French and Ken Williams, as well as Earl Manners and Scott Sheared.

In Ward 4 there are four candidates, David Ashley, Alice Barton, Michael Ugarenko and Rick Zanussi for three seats.  Ashley and Zanussi are incumbents. The lone council seat in Ward 6 will go to either incumbent Grant Walker or Jim Gilchrist.
