Today mark Moose FM’s 9th annual Radiothon in support of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation.
This year’s Radiothon is raising funds to buy a number of critical devices enabling staff to connect with the “Electronic Health Record” system that will be up and running in 2019.
Item 1 – patient info display 43 inch monitor that will provide real time info on patients ‘work-up’ ie … diagnostic procedures / results, lab results and location of all medical staff relative to ER patients. $2200
Item 2 – 7 Workstations on Wheels (WOWs) are needed at a cost of $3,407 each for a total of $23,849. These workstations allow more bedside contact between patients and the medical team recovering info on procedures, care etc.
Item 3 – 3 rugged tablets at a cost of $2,429 equaling $7,287. These tablets will be used by the Medical Team to quickly attend the bedside and keep information current.
