Canada Day celebrations begin this weekend in the Parry Sound District. Sundridge and Strong Recreation Committee will host celebrations at the Sundridge Lion’s park tomorrow with children’s games, face painting, cake, a parade that starting at 2:00pm and fireworks at dusk. Also tomorrow, Whitestone is also celebrating Canada Day with games and fun at the Dun-Dome starting at 7:00pm and fireworks at dusk. Bala will have Canada Day celebrations on Sunday in Margaret Burgess Park beginning at 8:00pm with fireworks at dusk while celebrations will be held in Minnet at the JW Marriot on Tuesday. The Town of Parry Sound will hold their celebrations on Canada Day, this Tuesday, with children’s activities and more at the Stockey Centre and fireworks over the harbor at dusk.
