Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Clement issues summer demands for PM Trudeau

As the spring session of federal parliament came to a close Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Conservative Tony Clement left a to-do list that was essentially a series of missives directed at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Among other items, Clement is demanding Trudeau’s marijuana legalization bill protects children and seeks to make sure Canadians are kept safe. He also points to a need for the Liberal Democratic Reform Bill to be modified or killed to prevent foreign influence on Canadian elections.

He also takes issue with Trudeau’s perceived personal comforts and expensive tastes over investing in Canada’s middle class, listing a number of examples of Trudeau participating in “outrageous spending”, such as his “ethics-violating vacation to Billionaire Island, his disastrous India trip and his luxurious summer home upgrades.”
