New retirement complex in Parry Sound ready to build

A new state-of-the-art retirement facility is ready to be built in Parry Sound.  A ground-breaking ceremony took place at the site of the retirement residence behind Canadore College which will be called Gardens of Parry Sound.  Mayor Jamie McGarvey is excited to have the facility because of addresses the need for this kind of housing.

McGarvey also says the residence will create construction jobs as well as 40 jobs to operate the facility once it’s opened in the spring of next year.  President of Eldercare Consulting, who will operate the facility, Shael Simon explains what the complex will offer.
