Northern Rescue filming this week at The Slice (Wildflour Baking Company)

Northern Rescue has transformed The Wildflour Baking Company into The Slice,  a place to purchase coffee on Turtle Island Bay, the fictitious town that the CBC-Netflix series is set in. Filming will occur at 36 James Street tomorrow and Wednesday.  Northern Rescue vehicles will be parked adjacent to and directly across from the location, and on the east side of Gibson Street between Seguin and Mary. Northern Rescue has asked for these spaces to be cleared by 8 this evening. OPP will be on site as there will be brief traffic and pedestrian stoppages on James Street when shooting.

Northern Rescue Assistant Location Manager, David Franklin says traffic stoppages should not last longer than 3 minutes.

He adds for continuity purposes, pedestrians will also have to wait while shooting is in progress.

Franklin says this will be a recurring location.

Franklin adds Wildflour is an incredible location.

Northern Rescue filming will take place inside the bakery tomorrow. On Wednesday there will be filming inside and outside.
