It’s been in the works for a few years, but the construction of Henvey Inlet Wind Farm will be going on through the summer and fall. West Parry Sound OPP Constable Miles Loach says construction will begin shortly.
Loach says drivers should expect slow-downs and stoppages.
Loach says, the transmission line will be built parallel to Highway 69, but motorists need to stay focused on the road.
Construction is expected to last until December. Henvey Inlet Wind will power 100,000 homes with clean power.
