Stop the Drop’s momentum continues despite water levels increasing. The organization says Just because Mother Nature restored some of our lost water doesn’t mean we can slow down efforts to have Government address our still unresolved issues. They’ve set up two connections to help the movement grow; the setup of their first local chapter in Collingwood and a partnership with Carling Township. These partners will help Stop the Drop extend their reach into the community to engage Lake-users face-to-face, both permanent and seasonal. The organization will also have their own team canvasing events around Georgian Bay spreading the message and gaining continued support.
