Police looking for driver of a stolen car after theft of gas in Burk’s Falls

Police in Almaguin are looking for a stolen vehicle after investigating the theft of gas from a Burk’s Falls gas station.  OPP was called Thursday morning after a man pulled into the Burk’s Falls Shell station just before 9:00am and put $50 worth of gas into a beige GMC Envoy and drove away without paying.  The investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen from a taxi company in Sudbury earlier that day.  Officers are looking a white male between 18 and 20-years-old, clean cut who was wearing camo pajama pants and a white sweater at the time.  Anyone with information about the driver or the vehicle is asked to contact police or call Crime Stoppers.
