Local police will be giving a presentation to help parents better understand the dangers online. West Parry Sound OPP Constable Zenobie Loach and Auxiliary Constable Cory Brunatti will present the internet safety program “Protecting Children through Educating Families” Next Wednesday night at William Beatty Public School beginning at 6:00pm. The presentation covers preventing sexting and cyberbullying, internet and the law, and configuring parent controls and local firewalls. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn how to keep kids safe while surfing the internet.
