It is with broken hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of our adored Husband, Father and Grandfather, James Robert Riches. “Big Jim”, as he was known by many, left us unexpectedly on April 14th, 2018 at the age of 65.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 42 years Patty, his children Jimmy (Kelly), Katie (Steve) and his grandson Owen.
He will also be fondly remembered by his mother Eleanor, his sister Violet and his brother John, by Patty’s brother Dave (Cathy) and by all of his nieces, nephews and the countless lives of those that he has touched.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound
(705-746-5855) on Friday, April 20th, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, April 21st, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held in the Logan Memorial Chapel Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to West Parry Sound Health Centre – Intensive Care Unit or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
