The St. George Ravens bounced back in the best of seven GMHL Russell Cup final with the Almaguin Spartans grabbing a victory on the road Sunday afternoon.
The hometown Spartans went into Sunday’s game leading the series 2-0 hoping to head back to St. George with a commanding 3 games to 0 lead.
However, after another very physical game 3 the Ravens had persevered winning 4-1 to cut the Spartans series lead down to a single game.
The series resumes in St. George Wednesday and Thursday nights before returning to South River next Saturday night (if necessary)
