The Special Investigation Unit is now investigating a motorcycle collision involving a police cruiser. Yesterday afternoon around 2:00pm, Southern Georgian Bay OPP saw a vehicle speeding on Line 2 in Oro-Medonte. The motorcycle driver continued southbound before crashing into an OPP cruise near Mount St. Louis Road. The motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital in Barrie then later airlifted to a Toronto hospital where he is currently recovering in the Trauma Centre.
