Police are laying impaired driving charges against two novice drivers in Parry Sound.
Officers stopped a driver on Friday after noticing a vehicle with only had one headlight. The 20-year-old novice driver was charged with impaired driving.
A similar incident happened Saturday when a 52-year-old woman was stopped for having one headlight. Police say she was a novice driver and was charged with impaired driving as well.
The OPP says Ontario residents with G2 licences are considered novice drivers and cannot have any alcohol in their system before getting behind the wheel. Officials say if you believe someone is driving drunk you need to call 9-1-1 right away.
