Police suspect human remains found near South River is that of a missing man.
Almaguin Highlands OPP was called to Laurier Township about an abandoned car on Thursday afternoon.
OPP Constable Shona Camirand says police found the car in the woods near Chemical Road, three kilometres north-east of South River.
Police confirm the car is registered to Eugene Kim of Markham, Ontario who was reported missing last October.
Police have yet to confirm the identity of the body and an autopsy is expected to take place in the next few days.
The OPP is continuing its investigation.
