Purolator tackling hunger in Parry Sound and across the country

Next week anyone sending a package through Purolator is encouraged to donate to non-perishable food item.  June 2-6 is Purolator’s Tackle Hunger Week, a national annual fundraising campaign to raise food and funds for local food banks across Canada.  During the week, employees of Purolator’s terminal that services the Bracebridge, Huntsville and Parry Sound areas are reaching out to local residents to help alleviate hunger in their respective communities.  One hundred per cent of the food raised in Parry Sound will be donated to Harvest Share. Additionally, for every “like” on Purolator’s Facebook page or use of #TackleHunger on Twitter next week, Purolator will donate one pound of food to Food Banks Canada.
