Whitestone makes it official as it takes its seat on the pool advisory panel.
At its meeting last night, town council passed a resolution appointing Mayor Chris Armstrong to sit on the Recreational Complex Advisory Committee.
With all seven Parry Sound area municipal councils represented on the committee, consultation can now begin to determine the feasibility of a pool complex in Parry Sound.
Members of the Ad Hoc Wellness and Pool Complex committee addressed all seven area councils requesting they appoint an elected representative to the committee.
The seven Parry Sound area municipalities represented on the advisory panel are McKellar, McDougall, Carling, The Archipelago, Seguin, Whitestone, and Parry Sound.
