The Archipelago takes its place on the pool advisory committee.
Town Council voted on Friday to appoint Councillor Tom Lundy to the Ad Hoc Recreational Complex Advisory Committee after hearing a deputation from committee member Peter Istvan.
That makes six of the seven Parry Sound area municipalities to sit on the panel that will investigate the feasibility of a swimming pool in Parry Sound.
McKellar, McDougall, Seguin, Carling, and Parry Sound town councils have already agreed to send a representative to the committee.
Istvan will be addressing Whitestone Town Council Tuesday, February 20th at 6:30 pm as it determines it’s participation on the panel.
