The Parry Sound community through donations raises over $500 for the Association for Suicide Prevention.
Tuesday marked the last day of Safetalk, a series of sessions offered by Canadore College in partnership with anonymous donors from the area.
The three-hour program prepares helpers to identify people with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide help centres.
90 people took part in the program with the only cost of admission being a donation to the Association of Suicide Prevention.
