It will more than just Olympic hockey in MacTier Thursday morning.
While joining the rest of the Canadian Olympic men’s hockey team in Pyeongchang, Chris Lee is also teaming up with KidSport Georgian Bay to make sure every kid has the opportunity to play the game.
KidSport Chair Dawn McDonald says the organization helps families that can’t afford the registration and equipment costs associated with organized sports, something Lee truly believes in.
KidSport will be presenting the Canadian men’s hockey debut in Pyeongchang against Switzerland at the MacTier Arena and Community Centre Thursday, February 15th.
A pancake breakfast kicks off the morning at 6:30 am with the opening face-off at 7:10 am.
Breakfast is $5.00 for adults and $2:00 for kids.
All proceeds raised will go to KidSport Georgian Bay.
