Students at Parry Sound High School have shattered their fundraising goal for Relay For Life. Last year, the school raised $17,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society during Relay For Life and this year the organizing committee set a conservative goal of $15,000. Promotions Chair of the event Ariel Deverill says when the event started at noon today, they had already well surpassed that goal.

A final tally will come at the end of the event. There are around 200 students, staff, and volunteers taking part in the event which runs until midnight tonight.
