MCKELLAR TOWN COUNCIL REJECTS ADDING POOL QUESTION TO 2018 BALLOT

Township of McKellar votes down a request to have a question placed on its 2018 ballot.

The Ad-Hoc Wellness and Pool Recreational Committee had sent out requests to Parry Sound area municipalities requesting that councils approve of putting a question on their 2018 municipal ballots.

The question would ask voters if they wanted one of their members of council to sit on the committee.

The Ad-Hoc committee wants a comprehensive consultation process for the feasibility of a pool and recreational complex in the region.
