MARVIN GLENVILLE RICHMOND

 

Marvin Glenville Richmond (WW II Veteran – RCEME), passed away at the

West Parry Sound Health Centre on Sunday, January 21st, 2018,

in his 98th year.

Beloved husband of the late Florence Eleanor Cook,

and loving son of the late John A. and Almira S. (Markle) Richmond.

Loving father of Ronald (Elizabeth); Roger; Kathryn Loch (Peter); and Karen Jewell (John).

Dear brother of the late Fern Strader (Jack Carter), Orland Strader, Argyle (Wilma),

Errol (Frances), Marion (Ray Feighan), Clarence (Hazel), Gerold, Vera (Dan Robinson), Leslie, Ancel (Jean), Ronald, and Douglas (Hazel).

Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Born in Parry Sound, Marvin was a member of RCL Branch #117,

the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Trinity Anglican Church,

and a very proud alumnus of Victory School.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855),

where friends will be received on Thursday, January 25th, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.

A Service in Celebration of Marvin’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel

on Thursday, January 25th, at 2:00 P.M.

Private Interment Hillcrest Cemetery in the spring.
