Both the Seguin Huskies and Almaguin Spartans ran into a Ville Marie Pirates team who were on fire on the weekend.
The Spartans were the first to fall on Saturday 10-0 in Ville Marie.
The Pirates hit the road to Humphrey Sunday afternoon and came away with the 2 points winning 7-4.
The Almaguin Spartans still hold on to first in the GMHL North.
